No skill to zero your strats, Take your base, And droping your HQ without anyone noticing until the lights went out? Yeah, No skill here. *whistles

Doesn't it take two whole seconds to harden the HQ to be invulnerable?

Haven't looked what the maximum is on arena settings. 100,000 sounds to me like it might be a maximum value based on other arena settings I've seen.  If it is the max, then it takes more than two whole seconds.

No skill to zero your strats, Take your base, And droping your HQ without anyone noticing until the lights went out? Yeah, No skill here. *whistles

Nope.  All it takes is a methodology that bores your opponents into inaction.  Congratulations.  You have more time on your hands and a higher threshold for mindless boring activity than your opponents.

Wiley.

Guys I got the full scoop on this mission over the phone today from the man who helped the mission from start to finish over 17 hours and just wow

Regardless of what anyone says or think about HQ play, to divert a gv hq run to the resupply vbase, dial everything in, and take it. Then keep the vbase for 17 hrs against what can only be described as pure bish bomb and bail madness for hours.....

:rock :salute thank you HTC for such a great game!!!

some play for fight, others play to win. In FineTime's book 49ers are

Well done, 49th.  :aok

 :salute

We are the 49ThFG and are sorry that we've caused so much havoc by taking down the HQ for sixteen plus straight hours. We didn't expect Hitech to bow down to all of the crying about the HQ. If it was really such a big deal you would defend or resupply your HQ, It is a strategic target after all. changing the downtime to five minutes and upping the ord amount to 100,000 lb won't stop someone who wants to kill the HQ from killing the HQ. If you're going to change the ordnance amount to 100,000 lb why not just change it to 999,999 lb?

(Image removed from quote.)

Now, We know how you love to wine and cry, But you should've and could've seen this coming, Especially after we zeroed out your ammo factory.

Thanks to the 49ThFG and to the knights for keeping the HQ down and the base defended.

Correct, you have no skill.  Even with the advantage in a 3 vs 1.

I like cleverness in gameplay, and <S> to whoever was involved with that take of v15. But what you accomplished was impressive enough, no need to break your wrists patting yourselves on the backs for it, OR to engage in blatant hyperbole. (I didn't see ANY bombing and bailing, and I was online for at least 9 hours of the v15 occupation...."bomb and bail madness" indeed!)

No way you guys would have held onto it so long, though, if we bish had been a bit smarter about trying to take it back. Lol, but bish kept logging on, seeing that the Vbase next to HQ was taken, and deciding to rally an insufficient # of troops to the cause when a single coordinated mission would have solved the problem.
One thing bish did do well, though (after blooding our noses against 15 for a few hours) was have a couple of sets of buffs keep the hangars down out of synch while the rest of the bish online took 4 or 5 of your bases--something I would encourage the next victims of a 49er infestation to consider. It was very satisfying to turn a liability into an asset that way!

The talk among  the defenders at V15 during the siege was........"The Bish can take all of our bases......I don't care. It's this base that is making them crazy and they can't have it" a quote from a dyed in the wool Knight who will remain secret. It took three 49er to take V base 15, but it took the Knight Kingdom to hold it. And during that time something happened....the Knights were united and those that were there defending, they liked what they saw. I know what happened there from the time I dropped the troops that tookV15, to watching from the tower 4 sets of Bish troops go into the map room. What ever side you were on I can tell you this was a battle like no other and for those who participate they will not forget what happened there for some time to come. For those of you who forget...........history does repeat it's self.

If they had not raised the HQ hardness from 37,500 lbs to 100,000 we would have  carried in the sups....but being so high and the amount of supplies need to keep the HQ down the only option was to take the base that our enemy used to re-sup it. Basically taking an asset to one side and changing it into a liability. V 15 was designed to be hard to take with no spawns in.....only spawns out. I know there are a segment of those that say the HQ take downs are bad for the game and the 49th is a one trick pony....I kind of agree. That's why there are new tactics and targets in the works that will be as effective as, or better, than a HQ take down. And to those who want to see us go back to Rooks....we are leaving in a few week as scheduled....... But WE are coming back, and we're bringing hell with us.
