There is a group in japan now that can project live TV feed as holograms in the street or over a building. They intend to project feed of athletes from the Olympics onto Japanese city streets to allow passersby to watch individual athletes as 30ft projections in action. They have used clouds to project CGI action images onto them. They have been hired all over Asia to do shows or project images. Their equipment can accomplish what is in these videos.

They were showcased on the Japanese channel NHK World special back in September.
