By the way, you very likely breath in human DNA every day as well.

One thing to keep in mind is that if they are using PCR techniques to come up with this (I suspect that they are), some PCR techniques can detect down to one DNA molecule. :rock

I am sure that 100% of the meals I make at home have human DNA in it.  All it takes is a hair or a flake of skin.

Because of the similarity between human DNA and pig DNA I would be surprised if they didn't find this, especially considering the non-clinical methods they use to test samples.

Still, I could not blame you for not wanting hotdogs anymore, especially considering that it is probably minimum wage, immigrant workers that prepare hotdogs for packaging.

EDIT: And the increased frequency of human DNA in the vegetarian product is a fairly good indicator that the more hands-on contact workers have with the raw product the more likely they are to pass on their DNA.

Hebrew National.  I don't touch nothing else.

Wab
Yee, Kosher, they know how to sacrifice animals and drain the blood;, same the Muslim halal techniques,  they also keep it soaked in water hours before selling. Unfortunately only our western greedy merchants are selling it soaked in blood, like for vampires, It's heavier makes more $ .
The warning issued yesterday  by WHO is for red meat also not  processed only. Red meat means more blood vessels and blood in tissue. Last year an university from Danmark published the a study explaining how the haem from blood mess up the H.Pylori bacteria in the gut triggering genetic mutations in stomach tissue maybe intestinal also. I cant search the sites, I'm on the phone, but I remember because few years ago I watched helpless my mother dying slowly by stomach cancer.
Our modern medical research get same conclusions written in Bible,Khoran, Torah for 1000s of years.

I spent about 15 minutes on Google, and everywhere I look all of the stories point back to Clear Food as their source. I cannot find any published clear cut results on their site and they are being very tricky with their wording. I also think that it's rather convenient that they broke such a big story in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign. Their website is also very silly with a very... hippy-esc feel to it (it lacks the level of professionalism that I would expect from a company like that). I feel like they are trying to appeal to young people and self proclaimed experts to start a revolution. I also find it very odd that they didn't list the companies that had human DNA in their product. I would imagine that would be a hugely important part of the test so that other testing companies could verify their results.

Because of all this, I'm not believing anything that they say; at least not until more studies are published confirming their results.
