Oh I don't know..........ten million sounds like something to strive for.  Hope he stays.

It definitely would be on the table.   Jim is the type of coach who wants to be an NFL head coach.   Sure he is coaching his Alma mater, but he has always embraced the NFL.   He also has made it very clear that the west coast is a preference.

Not saying it will happen, but it is a very plausible scenario.

Hey Brooke-

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jim-harbaugh-leaving-michigan-for-the-rams-is-reportedly-a-very-real-possibility/?linkId=32270303

Whatcha think?  Real or fake?

Don't know why he would leave.   He has a great program and it will only get better as he continues picking up good players.
If he dose leave, it will be years before MU gets another great program unless they can get a coach that can make it work in his first year.

I just don't see him leaving at this point.  He is recruiting well, UM is playing championship level football,  and he probably has a clause to give him a huge bonus to win the B1G and NCAA championships.

Enter Les Miles or any other big name coach.

Previous to LSU Les Miles was the Coach of the team up north.  I don't know if he would be welcome there.

Its the same thing every time an FL coach is fired they talk about Harbaugh going there, could it happen sure but is it likely to happen? No next big name to mentioned is going to be Jon Gruden just like everytime an nfl coach loses his job.  The media just throw stuff against the wall trying to be the first to "report" something in case something sticks.

Don't think for one second LSU wouldn't take Saban back even after all the butthurt and vitriol.  Just an example.. Miles is not on the level of Harbaugh, Saban, or Myer.

I've always felt that Alabama's QB recruiting was mostly "meh"... except for that AJ MCarron guy. That dude was a baller. In any case, since they've been switching to a spread offense, the QB recruiting may improve for the better I think since high school dual threat QBs are the hottest things in high school and college football right now.

To be honest they dont really need a outstanding QB.  They have an amazing OL and plenty of good RB.  Plus in their offense quick passes arent hard

Will Jim go back to the NFL? Maybe but I doubt it will happen until he can say he was one of the greatest coaches in Michigan football.

Not while Lloyd Carr is around, banging Gary Moeller's wife kinda was probably not the smartest of moves.
