OL and I were talking about it other day on vox after I hit the trains when the idea for the railroad yards game out.

a few days ago, we were attacking a "strat" factory and we had great success and as I was making my last pass in my trusty 38, someone called out a train near by! As I made my first pass at the thing, the ack shot out one of my engines, but thought I would make one more pass on the train engine to disable it for the other guys.
Now picture this: I am approaching in a shallow dive, with the train engine on the "left" end of the train cars and lo and behold, I was having to correct to my right in order to keep it, the engine, in my gun sights! Do these things run backwards as well as forward and if so, how are they controlled? I thought they were just automatic functions of the game, but now, my curiosity is up about he trains in the game!
Question #1--can the train engine be disable, making the train cars easier targets for destruction?
Question #2-- What effect does destroying the train have on the game?
Question #3-- May I destroy the "train station" with bombs or cannon fire, there by disabling the function of the train on the game?
Question #4- Do you receive any "perk" points or damage points if you destroy the train and or station? if so, how many of each?
I have read a couple of books on the 57th fighter/bomber squadrons in Italy during the war and they were directly responsible for limiting the resupply of German troops in Italy and thereby enabling Patton's 3rd Army an easier task of taking Italy back from the Germans. There is a video about the 57th on utube somewhere, but unable right now to find it, but if you do, its interesting watching!
