It is with a very heavy heart that I inform the AH community that Jeff "WWhiskey" Favor passed away today.
I met Jeff when I started to play the game in 2008. He was with the VF15 Satan's Playmates. He was one my mentors in this game and I have come to know and love the man and looked to him like a Brother.
We went on together to form the Inglorious Bastards that led to the stepping stone to the creation of G3-MF.
He was always fun to hang around and learn from. He had this giggle like nobody I know. Always the same whether he was being polite or laughing his bellybutton off. The tone never changed. One night we were bored and tooling around. He was in a Panther doing his GV thing and I was harassing tanks in a stortch. A Me262 shows up and tries to pick me off. I kept positioning myself to draw it in and WWhiskey main gunned it. Damnedest shot I ever saw. I about peed my pants from laughing so hard, and he giggled like usual.
From what I know, WWhiskey has been battling heart problems for just over 10 years. I am not for certain what caused his passing and will find out soon. For now, please take the time to post your favorite memories of our dear friend and mentor to so many.
I will try to set up a memorial flight on a date to be determined.
May you rest in Peace my friend until we meet again at Heavan's Gates.
