Why not inform him instead of make fun of him?
Because the OP came in grumping and slinging cheating accusations rather than asking for information would be a good place to start.
But just for grins, 8trgtdrone8, here is how he found you:
When enemy planes get above 75 feet AGL, there is a red bar that appears in the top left of the sector they are in, that informs the other side that there is enemy aircraft in that sector. There is also a green one that shows above it, that shows that there are friendly aircraft in that sector as well. These bars are commonly referred to as "bar dar". Important note- You do NOT see your own bar dar. In other words, if you are the only friendly in a sector, you will not see the bar at the top left that the enemy would be showing. You will only see green bar dar if there is another friendly in your sector.
So what that means is, Ack would have been able to see the bar dar you were generating as soon as your plane got above 75 feet above the ground. He then would have been able to make an educated guess on which field you were headed towards and climb to alt to set up to be in that area. As your bar dar moved across sectors, he could refine his search based on what parts of those sectors you're headed through without setting off radar. If he caught you just outside of his radar, it's likely because the way the radar circle covers the sector means there was a limited area you could be in, making his job easier, and he had just set up there knowing you'd have to go through there.
Another possibility is that his side had a friendly CV whose radar you flew through, showing him a dot to follow, but you didn't get within AAA distance of it to notice it.
No magic, no cheating, just understanding the mechanics of the game.
