 Don't do it! This pilot is definitely deserving of special consideration. But he's already  scary deadly in this airplane.

The A-20G, delivered from February 1943, would be the most produced of all the series - 2850 were built. The glazed nose was replaced by a solid nose containing four 20 mm (.79 in) Hispano cannon and two .50 in M2 Browning machine guns, making the aircraft slightly longer than previous versions. After the first batch of 250, the unreliable cannon were replaced by more machine guns. Some had a wider fuselage to accommodate a power driven gun turret. Many A-20Gs were delivered to the Soviet Union. The powerplant was the 1,600 hp (1,200 kW) R-2600-23. US A-20Gs were used on low-level sorties in the New Guinea theatre.

Not really.  The quality control issues on US built Hispanos are well known.  British Hispanos did not suffer from those defects.

  There's a link in the A/C and vehicles forum,in the tracers thread that will explain all the problems and issues the US had with the hispanos.

  From what I read it appears the US used too tight of tolerances and an improper head spacing,they also "lubed" the ammo. All of which the Brits had warned against doing.

I remember seeing the thread but did not follow it at the time.  I will give it a read.  Thanks for the post.
