1. There should be hotkeys to pull up maps. Like control+1 would bring up a small field, Control+2 a medium field, Ect.

1.2 There should be a "notes" section in your clipboard that you can type in and it would be a file on your computer that you could copy paste things in through your files. This would be useful for things such as FSO orders, lists of things, ect. I want this because in AH even if you have two screens you have to tab out to use your second screen.

1.3 Allow people to use multiple screens while playing Aces High. If I want to look at the forums(bbs) or watch youtube videos while on a mission or whatever I don't want to have to tab out. Often when I tab out AcesHigh crashes. This would be solved by being able to use my screens without tabbing out.

2. Tanks should be able to "throw a rope" to a rolled over tank and flip them back over, It's way to easy or roll a tiger 2.

3. You should be able to choose the number of each type of shell you want in a tank instead of the presets. It could be a slider. *cough* warthunder *cough*

4. American tanks should have HVAP rounds, Limit it to like five though because they were in short supply, Or make them perked, One perk buys you five shells and you lose them when you die. Could be one perk per shell too. Just an idea, Play with the numbers later.

5. British APDS rounds (specifically for firefly) please.

I've been playing some warthunder and I think it really beats Aces High on the tank side of things. I refuse to try the planes because it tells you where to shoot. Anyway Warthunder is great because you can hurt or kill crewmembers or different parts of the tank. It's like aces high but it's better because you can repair yourself if the damage isn't to bad and it's more detailed. Like you can take out the turret ring but still be able to fire but you can't rotate your turret as an example. On AH if you get a hit you take out the engine, gun, Or you get a kill. Aces High is very basic compared to warthunder.

In AH you can also take out the left track and the right track and the pintle gun.  What else, besides the turret ring, would you want as a "take-out"?  (And you can't say crew members since they could all probably do each other's job.)

First #1 is already ingame, right click map, select clipboard maps and select the type of field!

1.2 you can add notes to the clipboard maps but using a window mode will just lead to unwanted gaming of the game.

1.3 you can simply use a second device to check the BBS or whatever

as for the rest well,I wont comment as it would be against several forum rules.

Try using the Squad MOTD. Granted you have to be the CO to upload it. Or a notepad.

Aces High should run better when you are tabbed out.

In warthunder you can take out the barrel (You become very inaccurate), The breach(Shells won't always go off so you have to reaload again), Se the tank on fire(Crew has to put it out so you can't do anything for X seconds), You can disable the turret ring so it moves slower, Or disable so it won't move (You can repair it). After a turret ring is taken out I believe it moves slower after you repair it and you can't speed it up. You can do more stuff but I'm to lazy to type right now.

Oh you can take out crewmembers and they are replaced by other guys in your tank but they do it slower because it's not what they're trained in. For example in a t34 your pentle gunner can replace your loader but you will reload a lot slower.

When I say a crew can repair something we could make it work in Aces High by giving crews X number of repairs and then they would need vehicle supplies once they run out.

No. Number one is not in the game. I'm talking about a hotkey to get to the maps. The interface is to clunky to bring up in the heat of battle. "Hey where is gun one" And it takes 30 seconds to bring up the clipboard, go to "maps", select the right map, It's not working so you have to "create" a new one, Then find gun one. If we had hotkeys it would bring up the clipboard and the correct map on one hotkey, Saving time and frustration.

"Unwanted gaming of the game" Please explain? It's not like someone can't have a second computer or a smartphone to look at things. I have three screens and want to be able to use them without tabbing out.

I don't have a printer. How easy would it be to add this feature? Very easy. It would be one more feature that makes this game more attractive to new people.

He wants AH to be all of WT's things he's in love with.

When you make your product look like your competitor's, you have admitted your own product cannot stand on it's own.

This wish sounds more like it should be about virtual game spaces across additional monitors.

Wish:

Can it be made possible that I can use more than one monitor as a virtual utility space? I want to play the game on a primary monitor while having multiple pages from the clipboard open in virtual spaces controlled by the game on other monitors?

When did Aces High players get so lazy....if you have a laptop, tablet or a smart phone you can port the base maps to them..or there is always a printer somewhere you can pay a few cents to use or even free, if you look around for it. UPS stores or copier stores or even a friend if you have any...

You can even hand draw copies like real pilots some times had to do......

Now if you are baiting and switching and this is not about maps so much as wanting hitech to hotkey common tools from the clipboard to make you happy. You gave it away with your "more attractive" sales pitch showing your only concern is really your kester.

Why do you poop on my posts, And personally attack me? You try to shoot down my wishlist and attack me for liking warthunder's tanks compared to Aces High.

I'm not going to draw maps, And nobody should be expected to if there are already maps in-game. I'm sure it would take five minutes of coding to allow hotkeys to be set to bring up whatever map you wanted. As far as getting maps printed? I'm not going to waste what little money I have to get maps printed and lamented. How dare you call me lazy for asking for a hotkey feature for maps to be added to the game, And suggest I draw my own.

If these changes were implemented, which we all know they won't be, Would make this game more attractive to new players and this game wouldn't die, It's obviously in a death spiral. Without new players any game will die.   An updated GV system is obviously needed because it's leagues behind competitors. You say "When you make your product look like your competitor's, you have admitted your own product cannot stand on it's own." If Aces High was only GV's it would've died long ago. AH GV's are severely lacking and desperately need an update, This is evidence by people leaving, In droves mind you, To play games like warthunder and world of tanks. These changes do not have to be exact copies of world of tanks, It's just what any tank game should be, Because it adds a whole new dimension to Gving. Aces High could never be compared to Warthunder, Because in Warthunder you have on life in realistic battles and three lives in arcade battles, You also have a set time limit. There are also zones you must capture and hold to win the game, Before the time expires. The games are completely, And Fundamentally different.

The changes I proposed would not make Aces High look like their competitors, As you suggested. My proposal is for an updated ground vehicle system to modernize and make Aces High competitive again.

Most prolly wouldn't use hotkeys for maps to pop up. I don't even think that many use maps. I love using custom maps, but I don't think that adding key commands for maps would keep AH from dying.

You can always pull up the map on your second screen and then tab back in. I also use a laptop/cell phone to reference to maps when needed.

Thank you for the constructive, Helpful comment.

It really doesn't matter if "not many people would use it" The people who do use it would add it to a list of things they like about this game aka features. I could name a lot of things that aren't really used in this game, But the people who do use it love it. The ability to hotkey maps would be awesome because you could use standard AH maps or custom maps.

The problem with pulling up a map on my second screen is I never know what map(s) I need. If I need a different map then I would need to tab out and Aces has a good chance of crashing when I tab out.
