I think we should give the CIC's and the designers the benefit of the doubt. while flying bombers isn't everyone's cup of tea, make the best of it.

when jg54 gets them, we usually come up with some crazy plan, that works..... 50% of the time! hehehe we just make the best of it. we usually end up with the crappier planes, but we actually like it. if you're getting bombers to often, then make a better plan, so you don't get wiped out. once we had 12 bombers come in from 12 different directions. guess what, it was the worlds goofiest idea, but most of us got back. make it fun. Also I find, if you put sheep in the back of the bombers, the complainers usually get pre-occupied and don't complain... as much... hehehehe.

all I'm saying is when given lemons, make lemonade and have some fun!!!

The normal cadence over the past few years has been a bomber assignment's about every FSO's.  The attack missions are fun to plan but most folks enjoy the fighter role.  The last few FSO's bomber assignments became more frequent and alarming.  However, I was happy to see we had a big AK turnout tonight.  If we could have avoided the mass disco's it would have been a great night.

Hell VF-17 had bombers this frame and I think we had more fun than we did in fighters in the first 2 frames.

Any time we get together is a good time, regardless of the outcome. :x

Yeah, 'cept for the fact that they were on the deck flying through the airspace I was scouting to protect our field as they RTB'd.  I dove down from 28K just to find friendlies.  I was so excited too, I thought for sure I had found Boston's inbound after the disco reset.  I should have shot them down anyway.

It's always great to work with a squad who understands the value of squad-to-squad communication.  It certainly enhances the experience.   :salute
