According to this sites should be visible below 40 degrees north latitude, from Oregon to NY,  to  UK ; I'm moving out to check;

right now Kp index is 6.7 ;, map shows the lowest visible latitude vs  Kp;

And its cloudy here, of course 

but I can hear auroral flutter on 6 meters cw pointing north

Same here mostly cloudy, I could see the Moon for a short period; most of the continent is overcast with this mild  El Nino weather from Pacific ; http://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/
