« on: December 22, 2015, 07:46:24 PM »
I am not an audio guy and as such I am questioning the sound level of an opponent on ones six..... currently running a Roccat Analog headset of an Creative ZR....  it just seems the sound from behind doesn't start till about 800 or less....

A) is this a function of the game sound.....

B) will a better sound sys help this

If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

You can adjust but there are consequences...

I have my internal sounds turned WAY down (to 15 I believe).  I have my outside sounds turned up (somewhere between 65 to 80).  Basically, I can hear an approaching plane from about 1.2 to 1.5 out when I am in my plane.

The consequence to that is you hear friendly planes loud when in tight formations.

Just find that balance that you can live with.

Should be in the advanced settings.  I am going off memory though.
