Sounds like fun! I'll be there. I am usually a good target if nothing else!

  Shout out to HellBuck !
Thanks for putting that together, HellBuck. All in all, I think it worked out pretty
well. I saw lots of action from my perspective on the "Knight" team tonight, and
for the most part, everyone seemed to be centered on keeping the action going.
I think we had at least a half dozen if not more 47 Ronin in there, and I hope
to field that many again next Monday.
We flew in there from 8PM til 10PM Eastern, then moved back to the Late War Arena.
There, we found the usual....enemy hiding in the town and field ack or just plain
runnin' from a fight.
My hat is off to everyone who showed up and helped flesh this little event out!

Regards, Odd

Good times at M3!

There were 20+ in there from 8 to 10 EST: fast action, close fields with over lapping radar, great teamwork.

Last night I had the good times I remembered when I first started Aces High!

Hats off to Odd, KONG, Shuffler, Woody, Kenai, slider, HellsAce, Norseman, and many more!

Shuffler, you fly better as a Bish... Can't quite put my finger on it... Oh yes, my plane isn't on fire as much when you're Bish, that's it.

Thanks all for showing up! Let's do it again next week.

I'll be there next week.  Got stuck doing my usual annual last minute shopping.  MW is a great arena.  With people in it, you can get to a fight rather quickly.

I'll see if I can recruit my squad for the next one.

Don't worry Jimmy, I got shot down just as many times as you.
We didn't have a leader at 8PM, but Max said the Knights had a "mission channel" in
there, so we tuned to that and decided we'd begin the festivities with a "bombers and escort" mission.
At the same time, I announced on "200" the field we were hitting and asked for a max altitude
for both sides (we decided to all go Bishop and Knight) of 15K.
We took two sets of Ju88s with about 6-8 escorts and the fun began.
Our 88s were at 8K for the strike, low purposely to allow for relatively easy
attacks on us which would guarantee the escort fighters some "business".
The Ju-88s got attacked by about a half dozen various fighter types, and between
the bomber gunners and our escorts, I think we took down 3 or 4 of 'em.
The Ju88s then went on to hit the town for their first pass. We intentionally left
the FHs up so that the "enemy" could quickly lift fighters to keep the fight going.
Our Ju88s were clear as we made our first drop on the town, so we egressed about 5 miles
then turned back in for another pass on it.
By then things got real busy over the town and what remained of our Ju88s got
quickly shredded.
So the night got off to a very busy start.
In the main, the two hours I was in there was a very good, very busy fight.
Even guys that were flyin' combination cannon/MG birds were staying in the fight
with just "BBs" left to have some fun.
The only "negatives" I saw all evening were a couple of instances where one of our
guys had upped a wirbel at the enemy field and was havin' a go at the enemy
fighters on the deck near him; that was unfortunate as it was definitely not
our (Knight) intention to field any GVs over there.
Beyond that, it was definitely a fun, action-filled evening and I'm glad I attended!

This was a good idea and could become a regular occurrence. I'd be in for that.
