Spent 33 yrs as a field engineer installing and fixing CT and MRI scanners until
the strokes and heart attack. Now i'm disabled and trying to get where I can get back
to work! The irony is, I've been scanned several times by the very units I installed
and serviced  :bhead

I'm in pharmacy school at the moment. After I graduate I'm looking to either be a nuclear pharmacist or if I'm lucky, enter a PhD program for organic chemistry. In my spare time I'm a fisherman for steelhead, bass, and catfish mostly.

I'm a 38J driver. My wife has to fight the women off me all the time. She is 5'2" and kicks 6'5". In my spare time I design and fabricate metal items for anyone from the farmer down the road to NASA.

Hehe GE is a funny company. Full of engineers but they still want someone else to do the engineering. Ask them a question regarding one of their drawings and you will have to wait a week for an answer.

Metro Bus Driver for past 9 years.  When we got the articulate bus in Dec of 2012, I started driving those.  Been driving them since.  Use to play AH a LOT, but not so much now.  Once in a blue moon I'll pop in, but it get's boring very quickly doing strategic runs by myself for a day. :(

Over 3 million miles driven no accidents

Bit envious.  Had a drunk decide it was alright to make his turn right as I was going by; took the nose off his trailblazer.  Didn't feel the impact, but definitely heard it.

There is a Scenario coming up with bombers in it, and their runs will be exciting and filled with glory!  :aok

I'm a retired office worker and have so many hobbies I now wonder how I ever found time to go to work!  As well as AH, I also play Elite: Dangerous and some Second Life.  Hobbies include needle-crafts (knitting, cross-stitch, tapestry etc), walking, photography, amateur radio (G4FHA) and probably more I can't think of at the moment.  Also interested in geocaching and playing Ingress.  Housework?  Nah, no time for that!  :P

I'm a geologist working in the environmental consulting field.  I investigate and cleanup subsurface impact to soil and groundwater at various industrial and commercial properties, mostly in the southeast US and Midwest now, but have worked all over the continental US.  When I'm not working I spend time with my lovely wife and read a lot.

I work at a steel company.  my official job title is crane operator.  unofficially I am known as a burner.  as I cut slabs in half with a torch (burn).

btw  I got drunk on new years and ended up asking my ex girlfriend to marry me.  so officially I am known as not single anymore.  you are all invited to the wedding, it's in may.

I have been a goldsmith for the last 31 years working for family owned jewelry stores in the walnut creek, ca. area. i mainly do repairs, stone setting, and sizing but sometimes make stuff from scratch. I read lots of books: SF, history, science, biographies. I have an unquenchable desire for knowledge. used to play paintball when younger. i like long walks on the beach and cuddling up with a nice cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day, while listening to steely dan on my iphone J/K. I have been riding motorcycles for 40 years and still love the wind in my face. i have been married for the last 20 years to my love of 31 years we have a son and two grand daughters and a crapload of cats.
