Firing tank getting blinded
« on: January 16, 2016, 04:37:57 PM »
I find that the puff of white in the sights while shooting from a tank lasts too long for one to tell where I'm shooting at a close range target.

Pull up your clipboard. Then type the following into your text buffer:

.sliders

You will have a new page on the clipboard with three sliders. Fool with them, then shoot the gun while watching through the optic. When you have three settings you like, post those back here for Hitech. There is no guarantee you will get those settings but, they help Hitech to get a feel for what players are experiencing.

Oh, if the page goes away, just retype the command.

I've been in this test since August of 2014 when it was a closed alpha. Hitech listens to input.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

It seems to me that different tanks have more smoke than others.

Yeah, we're actually lucky the gun blast doesn't stir up dirt from the terrain like the real ones.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I tried it and despite moving each slider individually both ways and all of them both ways together there was no difference in the blinding white out of the optics.  I also noticed that while shooting at the lawn in front, the impact marks would only show every other shot.
