Hehe, I know even far less than what my time on the BBS may indicate.

I was mostly just messing with the way you worded your post.  Some people may interpret "luck" as being something outside the program itself.  If you would of said the second reason is due to random dispersion in the aiming generated by the code, I wouldn't of said a thing.  Truly all in fun, it is Friday after  all.

I know many people claim I wrote bad luck into just there version of the game.:)

And I had totally missed your joke the first time around:) I probably did because of all the probability theory courses I was lucky enough to take in collage.

Oh yes? Yet another bug making fun of a non-English speaker, huh?!?
Ducking a random dispersion cone is luck to me.

That is luck to me also but to just say luck in that situation is so loosely defined it invites people to use their imagination.  I wasn't really making fun of you, I was more using you to make fun of the crazy people out there.

So it's logical to surmise that if you practice enough to be able to destroy the ack gun from far enough away, the cone of dispersion will be large enough to make it seem like you are impervious to the ack. If you have to get real close in order to hit it, chances are it will hit you too.

I'm of the opinion (I don't expect an actual answer, HT) that there's some kind of blackout that detects landings.  It also seems able to detect when you are gaining on someone and about to get a shot in a rolling scissor.  Not sure how it figures it out with enough time for my screen to just go black when I am getting ready to line up for the shot, but it seems to work amazingly well.  :D

How about how Bishop tanks are immune to opposing fire?  :x :bolt:

I've never had luck with ack. I can't get close to a cv while I see planes fly through the cv and come out alive. Also same thing with base and town ack.....just my luck I guess. Even if I try and trick the ack I still get shot.  Also I guess it's because I fly the F4U-1 which is a big plane and bold target.

WHAT? You don't know the simple trick of using auto speed and throttle to get your auto landing set up?

Oh what the heck, now I can't gripe about that. And no I didn't know about that.  Throwing simple in there was just mean.  :)

So true.  My tinfoil Mustang gets oiled from max range even at 25,000'.   Ping ping.  Oiled.
