I believe his father's handle is "Picko".  Just send him a PM when LJ misbehaves and let the father deal with it.

Ah yes, I was told that his father was in game a little earlier today. If I had known this last night I would not have put something on the forums and instead contacted his father directly. Wish I had known earlier  :frown:

I've encountered him a few times in flight and on country channel. He seems like a decent kid (agree with his 12-14 age range) who just happens to act his age at times. Cut him some slack as he learns the game and matures through his silliness.

Yep...this  :aok  well said Max

Nope, no excuse for that. :furious Not for him or anyone else in this game.

That having been said, I have not had any problems with him nor have I encountered his "f-bomb" on channel of in text. If I do I will treat him just like any other individual in the game, report him. As for the ones "enabling" him because he's a kid, shame on you.

Why? There have been plenty of kids over the years who have been respectful. You cut a kid slack for asking a billion questions, or being all excited over vox. There is absolutely no reason to cut them slack for swearing or being a poor sport, rage PMing and all that.

Earlier this evening,

I posted a mission in honor of my former squad, it was intended to be a bomb-run to the Knight City. Utilizing B-17's along with Pony escorts. However just before I posted my mission, LJ (bish) posted one as well. He was able to garner no joiners so I offered him to fly lead in my mission, and allow me to post my own. When I did, we garnered 8 formations of 17's, and five pony escorts.

Lj was very intrusive from the beginning, begging me to change fields, planes, etc. I appeased him by changing a field, and the mission lifted.

I do not have a mic currently (one is on the way), so he did talking, and a lot of it. Giving false orders, confusing the group, I kindly asked him to allow me to give orders via chat, and he did so. We climbed to our altitude, and began to get into formation. I assigned positions and then was stepped on by LJ, who confused the new pilots and old ones, causing two formations to fall behind. I told him to take it slow using the wingman command, and climb slow.

He initiated a climb steep enough to send me 500 behind almost instantly, at which point I kindly asked him to give up lead position, go level, and allow me to take lead. It was at this point that he called me an "idiot". And refused to level off or slow down. He quickly hijacked the mission due to my lack of mic. Over text he sent me messages such as "haha you idiot", "you got yourself killed", etc.

At this point, I proceeded to the nit city, dropped my bombs, and respectfully asked LJ not to join my missions anymore, at which point he responded "you cant stop me".

He then took credit for the mission I designed, posted, lead (up until the final stretch), and ruined my good name in the process.

Being part of G3MF, I am bound to be respectful throughout these sorts of situations, both during and after (in private or public). I did my very best to keep to this code, and i hope that by posting this on the forums I can gain awareness without being out of line. I wished LJ luck on returning home, along with all others and I landed my plane (upon seeing this LJ typed out "NOOOO" onto the country channel). Overall, those reading this, I do hope you will take this situation into consideration next time he posts a mission. I also hope that when I lead a mission in the future my microphone will allow this not to occur again. I am not angry with LJ, very disappointing however, and I do hope he stays away from my future missions.

Edit: Based on the replies I want to clarify something, I know how young LJ is. I hope that he learns that what he does and says in public (or private), has consequences. My intention is for him to learn from his mistake, and next time choose the better path. I dont think he is a bad kid, I just think this is part of the learning process.

He's 12. Your parents must be proud of you.

This thread is not worth leaving unlocked.
