Ive lived in S.W. Florida 26 years , please don't come here its horrible , Ive been doing my best to stop the flow of people from the north (anywhere north of Orlando is considered North) , we have alligators , salt water crocs , sharks , snakes , spiders , lightning capital of the world , mosquitoes that carry virus's , red tide , old people that can renew their drivers license through the mail , everyone caries a gun and its ok if your neighbor shoots you as long as they say it was self defense , you'll need to learn to speak Spanish , Portuguese , Creole just to function when going out .... so reconsider
