Film viewer problem
« on: February 23, 2016, 04:09:12 PM »
I tried to watch some films and when I started them the sound worked but the image was still untill I hit fast forward. The image moved then but as normal the sound was muted. Should I try to download the viewer again?

The film viewer comes with the game and is not a standalone program.

If the film was not made with the same version of the game as the film viewer, it can get weird.

If you know what version of the game they were made with, you can grab an old copy of the game, install it in a different folder and use it to view/covert your films.

What I do each time we release a new update (not a patch, but a major update) is go into the game install folder and rename the "films" folder to the version the films were recorded with (i.e. v2_32).  That way if I ever need to view those films again, I know what version I need.
