B-24 Liberator Markings -- Interesting

Plenty of fodder here for anyone interested.    Some strange markings combos in this essay.

Not that I will ever skin a B-24, but this was still very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Clearly it was ridden hard, and the fire crews must have used something wet to put out the flames.

Don't forget the charring and scorch marks.   My Hellcats usually end up that way, so why not start out that way too?

This thread reminded me of a book I read many years
ago about a Liberator named the Lady Be Good.
It got lost on a Poesti raid. They found it it the southern
Sahara I think  :salute
