Just learned the Finnish have a word "Kalsarikännit" which means getting drunk alone at home in underwear.

Signing immigration forms now.

For practicing, why not join the Annual International AH Spring Meeting? The accommodation takes place in nice little fully equipped cabins perfect for getting drunk alone wearing just your undies.

Since the Danes have family issues this year, the Scandinavian slot is still unoccupied.

People seem to have the weirdest excuses to avoid having a good time. Babies, work, whatnot...

Mort you have to sit in your underwear and drink until you cannot stand.

Bizman has all the details and dates for 2016 :old:

Bruv119 has no view on the above, not yet anyway, one day he may need to talk to someone about what happened :)

That's as poor as an excuse as the others mentioned.

Says who? HKBlue doesn't drink and none of us wears anything in the sauna (except Mrs Gwurzel), so... Which reminds me of the fashion of not wearing undies with jeans when I was five. Nothing new there.

If I could travel it would be high on my list of places to go,that said winter is long enough where I live, the tropics would likely be the first choice.... :aok

Oh and I could be persuaded to try some of your fine drinks, although 1 would likely make me want to get naked and romp in the snow..... :devil

I want to go to the winter meeting to be honest.  The colder the water, the better for me.  Maybe I can see about 2017?

Well if you all go to one of these Finish 'Events' don't come back complaining that all your clothes fell off and you drank dubious amount alcoholic beverages which made you're John Thomas look a acorn :old:

I am glad Bruv119 has finally been able to recollect his involvement in his Finnish culture experience :)

I only drink to fall over, my clothes have never fell off though, well I don't remember it if they did :old:

One guy at the AH 3 con came down the glass elevator in his underwear, drunk. His name slips my mind (probably for a good reason)
Anyone remember that? I know Udie would...
