Monday Night Madness in the AVA
« on: March 05, 2016, 11:59:13 AM »
this week we will be using a terrain I haven't used in awhile.

its a tanking terrain, that's small, close quartered and has a city in the middle.

I will turn on tanks, but not anti aircraft vehicles for the sake of aerial battles.

Usual Rules apply:
no ho'ing
no vulching
ceiling 10k
Ack set to 25.0 (yes that's 25X the MA)

If that city is in between the two airfields, those skyskrapers are gonna make a very
cool environment to furball AND keep from augering into 'em. Looks like fun!

I didn't attend last week due to a case of "Aces High Burnout".
I was told turnout was very low by a couple of my squaddies.
I'll be there tomorrow night, Monday , and hopefully it gets fleshed out
to some good numbers.  :aok

Don't worry, Odd.  In your absence, we painted your callsign on the side of a KI-61 and shot it down repeatedly.

What a hoot!!  Fighting around those buildings added a new dimension to "situational awareness".

Thanks for setting it up, and  :salute to all who attended.

Oh man, that was by far the most hectic and fun "Madness" night yet!
I was pretty certain that the "city" in the center, with those tall skyscrapers
was going to be a factor and it turned out it was.
For me that was highlighted when I got saddled up on by a 190 and I broke hard
in between a couple of 'em and saw the Wulf couldn't make the turn; he plowed
right into one of 'em.   :x
My thanks to all who attended and made it as much fun as it was!

Best regards, Odd
