again in my opinion, the trend in our society has been in decline since

the world is not toxic, people are. people think because they can hide behind a computer screen, they can
say anything they want. some people have anger issues with a game and probably anything else in their
lives so they pm someone that got the better of them and give them a ration of "bad word".  the person
on the receiving end has no idea who that person is, other then call sign "any name".

but...... if they were sitting in a room together playing the same game, id be willing to bet that the person
doing the PM's would never have the balls to do it face to face.

people need to understand that in our world of computer anonymity, these are the kinds of things we have to live with.
you have 2 choices, you can just ignore it, or you get let it bother you. 
the people that PM you, this is what they're like: 

so next time you get a nasty PM, just realize that the person doing it, is just like the ones in the video.

  While I agree with you I have to say when a player VOX pm's you and screams in your ear you just cant squelch them fast enough.

   I have never understood why cross country vox pm's are allowed. Text pm's as easy to ignore I rarely read or even see the text buffer but the same cant be said about the vox side.

You may THING your turning with your pony, but to the "turny types" you aren't even close 

You fly the pony like your suppose to, keep it fast, use high yoyo to maintain speed but "turn" back on your enemy and so on. This pisses people off because you do it well. Much like Rocky, Mark4 and a number of others you fly the plane to it's strengths and you stick to it. This makes you very hard to beat and so pisses people off.

On top of that you have a reputation. You flew and were "buddies" with one of the most hated players that ever played the game in Skyrr. That pisses people off. You yourself are vocal on 200, not as bad as Skyrr but you do come close at times.

Is this fair that people give you two strikes right off the bat? No, not really, but it is human nature these days. Its how the internet works with the whole no accountability thing. Heck this whole next generation is being brought up that way 

Bottom line, is you don't want crap thrown at you, don't throw any crap. If your going to smack talk you can certainly expect to get some back. The arena is only as toxic as you can make it. Add more BS to 200 and it builds. I work hard at keeping my mouth shut.... and fail miserably some days, but I try. If you feel like your on the edge of popping off, detune 200 for a bit, or just squelch to guy that is pushing you towards that edge. I have a few that get squelched as soon as I see them in the text buffer. They don't even have to be talking to me, I just don't care what they have to say any more, they have proven themselves idiots and so are squelched just so I can enjoy the game.   

Rocky has zero skill.   All he does is run.   When I kill him it just means he dies tired.    I remember shooting parts off him for three sectors.  One ping at a time.   It was hilarious.

Fess is 1000x the pilot Rocky is.   Comparing them is an insult.

Sorry, you are completely wrong. Rocky has his own style and he is very good at it. It is just the 'you have to play my way crowd' that make such rash and uninformed judgements about other players, some of which have been playing for getting close to 20 years. Don't be one of those ignorants.

Ahhh, I understand. That makes perfect sense. He's only been playing for two decades. Seems reasonable to make a blanket judgement based on a brief encounter you had with him the other day. I take it all back.
