That's pretty impressive technology but it seems there must be a more efficient form of locomotion available than human-like legs. 
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Depends... If you need the robot to navigate buildings and vehicles designed for humans it may be the most practical form of locomotion. Most of our infrastructure is designed for 1.5-2 meter tall bipedal creatures. Just consider how much more difficult it is to use a wheel chair to move about a city or building.
