"The question remains, who is John Galt?" - Ayan Rand

I never thought I would be able to say this out loud in normal conversation.  Please forgive me this one time.

I am interested in ship building and hope you get your pics posted.

A bunch of pics of the 1/10 scale Yamato:

To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Well I  found that to be a little out of period for the build. Plus, where would I have put the flux capacitor?

You know, looking at that Yamato model makes me feel a little bit like the futility of things. I mean I just think of all that ore dug out of the ground and all that coke and coal and electric arc and bessemering and alloying to make all the metals, and the rolling and casting and welding. All the design and all the people working on it, all the wood in the decks the motors in the blowers, the turbine blades! The anchors and chain the optics the PAINT for gods sake. All of it and more and after some hours of bloody mayhem and death, glug glug glug.
Pies not kicks.
