WEEKEND MODS HAVE GOTTEN BAD, PULL THIER PRIVILIDGES

I've been playing this game for years and this weekend it hit a new low with mods muting me for 5 mins for saying cheaters are lame....then when a MOD warns me I tell the players what happened../.and me mutes me for 5 minutes.  unacceptable and obver the top middle school behavior on the mods part.  Keep the mod power in the hands of adults who can handle it.  you dont see HTC employees muting people for this why are the mods allowed to?

I said it's a game and only the ones that blow need to cheat to make themselves feel better ...got warned... then said OMG mods jumped me for saying the one lthing i did about cheaters.... how lame... and was muted for 5 mins.  i think HTC needs to have a little retraining with their mods...it's OUR game... we pay to play and should not have this level of censorship.... i can understand vulgarity etc... there are kids around... but cmon this is getting out of hand.  we are never censored like this during the week.

I dont think there is much if any cheating going on here in this game.  Nor does the conversation look good to new players.  I typically report the conversation when i see it.  Those reported usually are muted awhile longer than 5 minutes.  Looks like you got the better end of the deal.

No, it's HTC's game. The players pay to enjoy the venue presented for us. That said, HTC mandates a modicum of proper behavior for the betterment of the player community, and mods are placed in-game to monitor player behavior.

Your sir, overreached your boundary by discussing cheating...a subject Hitech has repeatedly stated as not being suitable for discussion on the BBS or in the game.

If I ever suspect cheating at all, I simply send film to HTC and move along.  I have no care in the world of the outcome of what I send in for review. 

But there is absolutely no reason, what so ever, under any circumstance to confront someone in forums or IM in game regarding cheating.  You accomplish nothing.  And usually, 99.9% of the time, it is a lag issue.  Information from one screen to another.  It is really that simple.

The ONLY way you can fix it is to film your flights and if you suspect something, just send the film in.  HTC does NOT tolerate it.  Nor do they tolerate harassment.

so many players accusing mods of overreaching.  I myself have been muted many times.  do I consider it unfair?  well yes but only because it's all about me.  but over all mods do the best job they can.  I dont think i have been muted for something I dont deserve.
