Sorry Brooke, been away from flight sims for a few months & not quite ready to come back yet. I hope you guys get some good action.  :salute

Roger that about the comms issue.

Man, I sure would like to live stream it.

I'll keep pondering.

A large enough delay would indeed get around the usefulness of information.

That is an *excellent* idea!

Knowing where a group was 30 minutes ago doesn't help you too much.  In fact, reacting to 30-minute-old info probably would probably harm you.

The only problem with that is that it lacks the immediacy, and so people asking a question or a chat wouldn't be seeing up-to-date stuff that I'd be experiencing while I'm replying.

However, that is probably the very best compromise.

A delay would still give your adversary a plane count in your group and plane types. If you are escorting bombers they can get that info too. Bad idea for scenario.

Good idea for every day fights.

Yeah it'd be great but you have to factor in there are those that might use that info to ruin the fun. They're out there. That's why, for me anyway, streaming is for MA only. I'll record tho and put together video of an event when I get time afterwards.
