Worrying for me was the state of Fester's map the other morning, logged in to see Bish bent over backwards.

with  0  (ZERO) players logged in,  12 knights and 11 rooks.   I can't ever recall a time in the Main arena where a team had ZERO players.   ENY of course wasn't in effect until after 15 minutes when 1 Bish player logged in and then ENY took effect.   I swapped to Bish and helped myself to some easy kills on guys thinking they had no opposition but it was a sad state of affairs.

It wasn't even after a map reset.

Every base on the Bish/Knight and Bish/Rook front flashing under attack. 1 base on the Knight/Rook front flashing under attack.

Great gameplay HTC. Keep up the good work...
Wait. Is that a complaint or are you envy of the bish for attracting all the action?
From where I sit, it looks like a great time to be on bish side.

If you like being outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1, then yeah. The side numbers were relatively even, but Bish had to cut their force in half to defend both fronts. Nit/Rooks had nearly their entire force attacking Bish.

Air Warrior had a simple fix for this that HTC refuses to utilize. Limit the number of available planes from a base/zone. When that number is used, players had to back up to the next zone to get a plane. Simple and effective anti-horde solution.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Beat the Bish, win the Map.  That is what we say in Rook land.   :salute the Bish.

That's a terrible solution, limiting the hoard is not the issue. This limits fights and limits team work. Want to dismantle the hoard? Get 5 buddies to roll 262, temps, 190s from a back field, get 20k, and go wreck the hoard. It really is that simple.

Fly Knights all the time.  Logged in yesterday around 6 PM and no Pigs online, and zero dar on either front.  Looked over to the Bish/Rook front and saw 2-3 full dar bars.  Jumped to Bish front and snagged me some Rook scalps.  Logged a couple hours later, updated my shots and took a complete decon shower.  :D

Wasn't the 16 fight last night on the Rook-Knight front?  That was one of the more intense battles I've seen in a good while.  Lots of people involved in it for a long time.

Rather than close the field to flight, I'd rather see zone ENY implemented. That way, even if you flew for a country with many numbers you could offset that by flying away from the pack or be gently encouraged away from flying with the horde unless you wished to fly less favorable aircraft.

Friday we had squad night (47 Ronin) and attacked Knights. We had buffs with escorts at less than 20k looking to get a fight going. Knights didn't want a fight, they grabbed while our dar bar moved south toward their base and came at us from 25K+

This is called "tactics".  The idea is to come up with your own tactics to counter their tactics.  That is part of the game.

I've often said, "If you can't find a fight, start one".  In your example, the 47 Ronin did exactly that, tried to get a fight going.  You were successful in that you got a response.  But you are mad because it wasn't the response you wanted.
