Apart from e-mailing everyone directly and posting on FB what else can be done?   

If people don't want to dogfight for fun and for sport then that is their choice.  I can't force people to play it if they don't want to.

Cool your jets there Bruv. It wasn't anything personal. Just saying that when it was a regular time every month it had a large group of players.

Didn't mean from you Bruv, I know you already take enough of your time to run the event...think the regulars of Koth dont do a good job getting the word out compared to the "vets" who bash it on 200 when someone brings up KOTH
