saturday night slug fest--in the AVA from 9pm-11pm EST--5/21/16

allied invasion begins:
Join us for a fun setup, for anyone that wants to try it out!
this is a test for the up and coming AVA war that we want to have later.
9-11pm EST--5/21/16 in the AVA arena. you won't regret it!
This is a specialized terrain with a really cool spawn for the
allies. the Allies will launch from coastal bases and try to capture
V51. the axis will defend it. this is about base taking to bring your friends!

Terrain: AVAchanl

Allies: launch from v39 and V40 to a LST on the beaches of france. try to get to 51 and capture it!
there are spawns from both bases to 51.

Axis, stop allied invasion! defend 51 to the last man.

win conditions: allies capture base, or axis stop them.

The O'Club at those starting V-bases give you the bridge view from the LSTs. The LSTs transport both GVs and bailed pilots (use a small aircraft.) For fun, look for the stairs from the LST's hold aft, up to the deck and see if you can climb the ladders.

if you spawn a small plane and bail, you can actually
climb the ladders and run around on the deck of the LST
cool stuff by the AVA staff!

which you can climb, by the way. go to it with a small plane, eject and parachute in. you can
climb up the ladder and look over paris from there.

thanks to everyone that showed up last night. it was a truly fun time and a precursor to the AVA war. I hope everyone enjoyed it.

for the record, the allies spawned in through the LST's pictured above and captured 3 bases last night.
there was dog fighting there were tank fights, it was a great time. see ya next Saturday night!
we'll continue where we left off!
