I consider "old" to be whatever twice my current age is.  Keeps a moving target that is far in the future.

the funniest thing happened a few months ago.  I was at the store and I met this two young girls.  I kept making them laugh.  at the end when I walked to the cashier, one of them handed me a piece of paper with a phone number.  I was like wow.  then she said this is my mom's number you should call her.  you would make a good couple.

It's all a matter of mathematics. I just turned 69 so I figure 34 plus 35, right?

Thanks.  I will sure look forward to that, old-timer.   :D

Just wait. You'll see

I noticed a larger difference going from 30 to 40 then there was going from 20 to 30
A HELL of a larger difference going from 40 to 50 then 30 to 40
And now I notice the difference between 50 to 54

Just in the last few years. My hands are starting to hurt. my feet are starting to hurt and when i get out of my truck at the end ot eh work day...Well. It used to be I got out standing upright and simply walked normally to the house. Now there are some days when I get out and I've traveled some 5-6 steps before I am fully upright. And I am noticing old injuries starting to resurface.

You'll see  ;)

I've always found the older i got. The older the women I was attracted to were. First I looked at some and saw my nieces because they were the same age as my nieces and not being from the deep south that thought didnt appeal to me.

Now I have a philosophy. If they are old enough to be my child. They are a child. 40 is about the extreme age of any woman I'd be willing to deal with.
Not that I dont mind the view of women younger then that. But then I also think. "Yea. We might have fun for a night in the sack. But then she's probably gonna want to talk." No thank you.

Oh, I am old all right, Patches.  If you don't think so, you must be really old.  :old:

You'll never hear 20 year olds saying 50 is the new 30.  Only old people say stuff like that.   :D

I hit 50 last year, and vowed to not get any older so this year I will be 49.  Plan on working my way back to 0...

One funny story.  I told my wife that when she turned 40, I was going to trade her in on two 20's.  She laughed and said "you aren't wired for 220's".  Had to give that round to her.
