Pyro clouds are great in this game, nothing more fustrating then to go on mission and get there and heavy clouds, well in ww2 they had a weather reports, could you plesae give us someway of looking at a certain base to see if the clouds are there, so we may make another mission.

How accurate were those weather reports in WW2?  I'll give you a hint: Today, even with doppler radar and all the technology, nationwide the forecasters are 51% accurate in a 24 hour advance weather forecast.

I vote NO WAY.  Let's try and keep some things slightly real huh?  In WWII quite a large number of missions were rerouted or aborted when they got to the target due to overcast or clouds.

It's already easy as hell to bomb places in AH now but there's yet another request to make it easier via an all-seeing, never erring weather radar to show where clear skies are?  Cheesuz. Kind of goes with the territory of being a bomber "pilot."

Drop alt and swing around again.

While you're at it, can I please get an AI Ms. Cleo to tell me if any nme fighters are going to intercept me on my mission?

I have an idea... HTC could make a special Perk C-47 weather plane. When it is up pilots could click on an enemy target and hear a recorded weather message. Instead of "HiTech's" nasty "Check Six" voice it could be "YANKEE's" sexy weather voice telling us "Couger, the weather is perfect for bombing over A-26... proceed with your mission!"

Ohh well, maybe not such a good idea after all  :D Just kidding Couger!  I think the weather factor adds to the fun and realism of the mission.

just dive yer buff below the clouds.  It's fun, and it gives fighters a chance to shoot you down instead of climbing to 32K just to have you outmanuever them.   :p

The other day I took a lanc up on a nucence raid, was doing dishes wanted to bomb somthing, as I aproached the target I saw a storm front heading in I droped and banked right into the cloods to avoid a spit that was closing on my six, was perfect timing :)

Also so what if their are clouds over the target the cieling is not low enough to put u you in the ack I bomb right under the cloud layer most of the time then climb into it for cover.

Wheather is awsome in this game More of it I say :) Longer Night to please( 5 to 10 minutes at the darkest point).

Tripod links don't work for me. Possibly because I won't accept cookies from them.
