Completed Issues Patch 22

Game hangs on-line at close button on Roster:
I went into CraterMA and there were 3 people in there. I pulled up the roster and when I hit the close button, the game hung and didn't respond to anything except Ctrl+Alt+Del.

I did this twice.

Was the old arena still showing in the list?

I Shutdown a Player Arena but when I went to create another one, the dialog box said I still had one running.

In the TE, the setting circles vanish at some distances and angles. My current work-around is to back out above the terrain until the circle appears, set my entry point and then move back in to adjust it for trees and rotation. Neither the setting circles or the entry point graphic are as visible as I would like. For me, they blend into the ground textures.

If I shut off my gv to listen for enemy gv's I will get an error message if I sit for a period of time.......more than 2-3 min.

"EVENT/default/Diesel/Track/Internal/Move is not stopping after timeout"

I got this message three times.

My engine will start but there is no sound. Only the sound of the tracks is audible.
I have experienced this in the M-8, T-2, and the T-1 at any place on map of CraterMA.

In One v One Autospawn, roster doesn't work.

Also, you might think of a better way to tell people they should move from the tower to the O'Club.  I think the guy who was there this night thought he would be launched from the tower.

And, after I wrote this, I went back in, moved to the O'Club, was launched and found I was my own wingman.  I believe the other guy was still patiently sitting in the tower.

TE make map is not creating a complete terrain. Attached is a previous make map "gunnery.jpg" with complete terrain features. Lighter colored ocean is the beta 20 make map "map.jpg" which is incomplete along with black areas that do not exist on the terrain.

With the lighter blue ocean, the dark horizon triangles are back to each side of the center third of your view.

CraterMA

Launched M8 from a tiny Vbase. Tried to ram the side of the map room. Ran up halfway on the mound and M8 stopped moving. Reversed and M8 fell backwards into the ground then started the never ending roll. Had to use task manager to kill the game. Took psave of location.

Having checked the TE's full list of objects I'm assuming the MA-allowable bridges are the ones with river banks attached to each end, bridge0a, 1a, 1b and 2a. If so it might be an idea to include these in the list of objects that display when "Show all shapes" is left unchecked.

I had a quick look in likely threads but was unable to see any discussion on these bridge objects and I have a couple of questions.

What Object Type should these bridges be set to?

Otherwise I guess they should be set to country owned with "Can collide" and "Set to terrain alt" both checked.

One other minor thing about Shore Batteries; in Land mode, the point of view doesn't track the direction of the gun. It's off around 15 or 20 degrees in my quick test.

Only item that I've found so far is the gamma setting seems to be locked at what looks like either .9 or 1.

Disregard my post number 8. The cursor does work and the program responds but the cursor position is way below the click point. I was trying the beta 21 again and I would put the cursor on the menu item and nothing would happen but I was just moving the mouse around and I saw a flash of white on one of the clipboard menu items. After that I found the area to move the mouse to make it work.

I also have to change my assessment of the effect of moving the mechanical ipd adjustment. I tried it again and it really had a small to no effect on the double vision. I do not know why I thought so earlier?

I was testing game crash when pressing the offline game mode button with DX11. When you change texture modes in DX9 it causes DX11 to crash when next you bring up DX11. Then if you delete video8.cfg and bring DX11 back up, it runs fine, and you can change texture modes. DX9 is not effected by this when next you run the beta in DX9 beta version.

What was crashing DX11 is this line missing in the video8.cfg when changing texture modes in DX9.

I'm finding in the DX9 beta version when I'm in the CV bridge or on the exterior O'Club catwalk, my FPS in any texture mode is 20's-30. In DX11 beta version 50's-60.
