Director Christopher Nolan will reportedly be intentionally crashing and destroying a vintage WWII aircraft as part of his production
Dunkirk. No details on exactly what the aircraft is, however the IGN report suggests it was formerly a Luftwaffe machine.
This honestly makes me feel a little sick inside. There's so few of those machines left as it is, and it's heart-wrenching enough to see another one lost due to mechanical failure. But to destroy one INTENTIONALLY for a movie? It's honestly a disgusting waste of a historical relic.
