Amazing game

I've been playing flight sims now for 20 years or thereabouts. Started out in Air Warriors and when they went belly up I came to Aces High. It's been an outstanding game with many great people. I laughed until tears came to my eyes and been so mad I thought I would pop an artery.

The challenges continue, always more to learn and more to do or try.

In late April I got a virus. The worse/best virus I ever had. I called it the God Virus for good reason. My doctor agreed with me on the name by the way. I will give no details on that. Everything I ate tasted awful. My last drink of soda was on May 2nd. I took a drink while waiting on a prescription and almost spit it out on the floor. Tasted like chemical waste. Just think I was probably drinking 50 to 100 of those things a month. I'm not joking. I'm well now and my life has taken a turn for the better.

I think May 1st was the last day I played Aces High and I only played a short while. My life has changed, I'm on a new mission now.

Like I said the game has been amazing and so have the people. It is with much internal conflict that I have decided to leave.

LURKER ALERT:

When I first played this game Getback, you were one of the best squaddies I could hope for.  You and I ran so many a mission to base# 38, deep in enemy territory.  You know the vBase I speak of, I don't remember the map.  You taught me more of the game than anyone else had.

Reading this thread made me rather sad; even though I stopped playing after Skuzzy banned LLogann from the forums. 

You will always be remember by me, and I mean in this real life we lead.  I hope you get better brother!

I played a scenario last week for the first time since I've stayed playing in 2012. I really enjoyed it. Amazing game is right. Hoping it stays around awhile. Peace
