ARMA3 - Editing Tools

Hi gents,
   Is anyone in here doing any editing on "Arma3"?
If so, what tool(s) are you using to "de-PBO" a mission file and
editing the "description.ext" file?
  I used to dink with this stuff in Arma2, but have picked up Arma3
and can't seem to find any -simple- tools for editing on the Armaholic
site.

Hey Odd,

I do quite a bit of mission editing for our group. I use PboView to pack and unpack PBO's and use Notepad++ for editing of any .sqf, .sqm, .ini, .ext, .rpt, ect. files.

If you need any help with editing any mission files or getting scripts to work correctly, let me know.

   Oh man, thanks a ton for the link to pboView.
I'll give that a whirl. I used to do some very minor editing of
user-made mission to allow for "instant respawn" a few years ago,
but that was for Arma2.
  I looked in the Armaholic downloads area but couldn't see any utility
in there which specified it would work in Arma3, except one which apparently
requires separate downloads of a DLL or two; and I've have no clue as to where
to put those after I DL'd 'em.
  Basically all I do is unpack the PBO, edit the description.ext file for respawn,
and a ton of weapons to choose from.
  It's for a small group of us who are not "hardcore" Arma2/Arma3 players.
  I'll definitely give you a shout if I run into any problems.
Hey, you don't perchance have any COOP stuff on your HD that allows for instant
respawns, do ya?

Try looking for some of our servers. One is Coop, the other is whats called A3Wasteland. The Coop one is a custom mission ive put together that is based off of Insurgency missions. You can find our servers by searching for "Black Widows Gaming". The one that is listed as the Dev Server is the one you would probably enjoy the most, however, it requires a few mods to be able to run the mission. It has FOB's, HALO jumps, Virtual Vehicle Spawner, Virtual Arsenal, and a few other things. All the vehicles are converted to USA Military vehicles instead of the default vehicles.

Also, Armaholic has TONS and TONS of mods, editing tools, scripts, and all kinds of stuff for Arma 2 and Arma 3.
