[edit] Funny though, the only Macallan I've got some tasting documentary of was the 10 yo Cask Strength version, 4.75/5. However, IIRC my tasting buddy neighbour has said it's his all time favorite! He must've poured me a dram or two of various versions every now and then. So far I've tasted 146 Single Malts in tasting meetings, plus half a dozen ones I've made notes all by myself. Eagerly waiting for our next, unofficial summer meeting on August 12th. At least six to add to the list...

Yes, misspelled Macallan - I'm used to asking for it more than typing it 

Macallan 12-year is a standard single malt in NYC - most bars have it. I usually like something peatier, but I've obviously grown very fond of it.

And, judging by last night, the bonus is that improves my gunnery and SA!
