So, for the last six years I've been driving a hand-me-down Toyota RAV4 that I disliked intensely. (It's a soccer mom car and I'm a fighter pilot! It's just not right!) Well, it finally committed suicide Sunday morning (The oil dumped going down the freeway at 95mph, and the engine ate itself before I could even stop) so it was time for a replacement!
I've always wanted a truck. I've been trying to buy one since I got to college, but I could just never justify the expense before now. Well, I was shopping used, trying to be responsible when I realised a 3 year old truck with 100,000 miles was STILL going for $30,000 out the door! That was insane! So I decided to take a look at some new trucks. Well, after about 4 hours of negotiations (I'm not even kidding, it took 4 hours) I got the exact truck I wanted, brand new, with an upgraded accessory package for the EXACT price I was looking for!

2016 Tundra, 5.7L V8 4x4 with the upgraded TSS package, tow package, off-road tires, all the bells and whistles! It's actually the first car I've ever bought, and hopefully the last! Oh, it was only $7k more including tax, title and license, than the 100,000 mile bare-bones work trucks used.
