This comes as no surprise to me. Pigs on the wing have been most critical of the 49th and its desire to do missions and win maps. The constant negative remarks in forums and in country whenever the 49th flew as a knight was expressed by pigs on the wing. They have said many bad things and always the first to discourage strat raids or base takes. I find it very odd that when the 49th decided to fly knights this month the POTW decide to fly rooks next month. This game was never intended to be all about personal score and landing kills. Hopefully aces high 3 will promote team work and victory rather than killing and boasting.

Sir, I refer you to the homepage. This game is just as much about getting kills, having scores, and boasting, as it is about teamwork. For you/your squad, victory may be defined as taking a base or winning the map. Where for others, victory may be about getting kills. That's whats so great about this sandbox environment. You can go and do as you please.

it's not personal but with you guys and the other squad on the knights we were having eny issues big time.  so we switched to rooks to balance things out.  you guys didnt think about the eny when you switched. your 15 bucks, just like it is ours.

Such hardship of eny is too much for anyone to endure. To be forced to fly in a less than perfect model is unthinkable. A war game should always make ready the best weapons at all times. One must never be in a situation where you are forced to fight without having the best at your disposal. Hardship in a war game is too much agony and must be avoided at all cost. Therefore you must prevent such hardship and absolute pain and mental distress by changing countries and flying for the enemy until the horrific situation subsides and eny is no longer an unbearable situation.

I for one am glad that POTW have done what is best for the game.  I'm sure there's at least a few people on your squad who are moving begrudgingly and it probably wasn't the easiest of squad conversations, so a big  :salute to you guys for trying to keep this fun for everyone.

Actually everyone seemed good with it and we're all having fun so far, when two squads changed from rook to knight it really made the numbers lopsided so we as a squad decided to even the numbers out and it seems to be working out.... and 49zero our squad isn't concerned with your squad so don't flatter yourself in thinking we care what you think, we did this for the game balance..

ironically it is the bish that the 49th hates. Hate makes those move in strange ways.  :bhead

This is incorrect Zero.  We criticize hitting the enemies HQ not strats or taking fields.  The Pigs engage in base taking to stir up combat, and do not view captures and map wins as the end all activity in this game. Capture away and hit those strats, you'll get no criticism from me on these tasks.
