It would be a nice addition, though it wound render the A-20 pretty much a hanger queen if it's introduced.

Well maybe a small perk price and if enemy is in effect would have to resort to the A-20.

Someone wrote the Invader had very high wingloading and turn in the region of the Me410 = worst in game. Its hard not to think about the front 18 .50 machineguns though.
However it will be outranged by Me410's MK103 that kills any plane (exception: maybe not the Yak3) with one hit  :old:

I have been wanting the A26 for years. Right now I get to fly on one for the CAF as one of the flight engineers. They are fun to fly on during airshows. I would love to fly one in the game. :airplane:

As an Air Warrior in a land, long long ago.  Shartbait and meself used to Blood Pig and troll fighters.  That version of the A-26 was a great plane.  Of course, the fights would run down to the deck, where SB's flight skills shined.  Me?  I was gunner in the back and kept them distracted.   We had so much fun doing this.  Perhaps not realistic, but it was fun.

It also helped the A-26 in AW that all bombers had porked flight models that allowed them to out turn any fighter in the game.  The A-26 in AH would fly much differently.

Got to work on an A26 in 1982 that was converted to a fire fighting tanker. It had a blown seal in the hydraulic system. The pilot took me along for the test ride.

What an awesome airplane!  :airplane:

That would be a cool addition. Cobia should not be allowed to fly it though.

So all you do against it just like the A20 is not get suckered into an over shoot. With 50cal in the nose and wings it will be hard not to get nailed while trying to get out from in front. Then it does have those dorsal and ventral twin 50cal to avoid.

I would hope the version of the A-26 would be the "C" model with the clam shell canopy that allowed the top turret to be locked in the forward firing position.  I also hope (if we get a perked ordnance system) that it would get the perked ordnance option of being able to select from various nose armament options of the B model or the glass nose of the C model.  With a few hours of work, the A-26C was able to swap out its nose package for any of the B models nose package and vice versa.
