Windows 10 Sound Issue
« on: July 26, 2016, 10:29:29 PM »
Just did the Windows 10 upgrade.  No problems except for the sound.  There's no sound coming through my speakers.  Nothing has been changed from the previous Windows 7 where the sound worked fine.

I checked in the settings menu, have the correct speakers selected, but the test function cycles with no sound through the speakers.  All the volume sliders are turned up and my external volume is turned up.  Any ideas?  Thanks!  :salute

Make sure you have the proper Windows 10 driver. Then:

Right click the Windows Start button and choose Device Manager.
Click on the Carat next to Sound, Video and Game Controllers to expand it.
Right click on the current sound device and choose uninstall.
Under Action on the menu at the top choose Scan for hardware changes.

You can opt to allow Windows to find the proper driver, but I suggest you choose the "Have Disk" option and install the proper version.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Thanks!  That was the issue.  Updated the driver, rebooted, and sound is as it should be.  :salute
