OK -- maybe I'm a bit premature on this one.

We don't have an Allied CO -- yet.

I liked the immediate part and didn't see the other part.

Thanks, Ditto!

Good to hear "B".

We'll be looking for it. Isn't it about time you stepped up to GL a squad?

Take a peak at the list and choose one. There is a first time for everything, right?

Actually was GL, for III/JG52 last scenario over Russia, we amassed a good amount of victories as an effective fighting force. I know Dan has the Spit group and was I thinking of flying with him, but I'll see what I like.

Edit: I'll take the 1st FG, my dad served with the 1st TFW, 71st Fighter Squadron back in the 80's. I'll take the 1st sir, and I'd like my cartoon plane to represent the 71st. I'll do my research  :salute

Flew with AKWarHwks crew a few scenarios ago.  Good lead.  Since I am now free on Saturdays a nice seat in a Spit would be fun if I am needed.

I actually just contacted the author of Door Knob Five Two, about purchasing his book on his experiences in WWII, as a P38 pilot. He served with the 1st FG, 71st FS, so his book is perfect for this scenario.

Don't waste your time.  His peers in the 1st tore the book apart as he fabricated much of it or put himself in situations that other pilots actually experienced.

Well then, any other recommendations for P38 memoirs from the MTO during this time period?

Don't worry most 38 pilots in game are not capable of handling it properly.
