That looks like a balanced rig to me. To really improve it you should build an entire new system.

As you may have read numerous times here, AH3 is more dependent on the video card than AH2. The same is true to many other current games, too.  Your GTX 950 is a mid class video card so upgrading that would allow for more eye candy and better frame rates in crowded situations.

However, and this is VERY important: If you get a more powerful video card such as a GTX 970 or 980, or their upgraded versions 1070 and 1080, you'd need a more powerful power supply with appropriate power connectors. Also notice that upgrading your video card may cause your processor become a bottleneck.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

so from what you see would a gtx 970 require me to get a better power supply>

The recommended power supply for the 950 is 350W , whereas the 970, 980, 1070, & 1080 recommends 500W.

What is your current power supply?

A faster video card will help with AH3 performance, but the CPU needs to be fast enough to generate the data for the video card first.

That 2.2Ghz AMD CPU is going to be a bottleneck, if it is not already one.

A 970 or 980 video card needs a 3Ghz (or faster) CPU in order to extrapolate maximum performance from it.

Bowhunter gave a perfect answer to that question.

And Skuzzy clarified the processor bottleneck issue.
