The "Feed The Tree" Girl Rocks
« on: July 31, 2016, 03:02:27 PM »
Was surfing YouTube for music from the good old days of yore and came upon this obscure but damn good song:

And this one of her solo songs that I never heard before today.  Pretty freakin' awesome:

The chick rocks out!
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

you might like Speedy Ortiz, they really channel that early-90s alt rock breeders or cranberries sort of vibe
and they're very good

Thanks, good find.  They definitely remind me of the Breeders.

Also found out Tanya was in Throwing Muses (and coincidentally, the Breeders) before Belly.  Never even knew this was the same girl.  She looks a bit like Scarlett Johansson in this one, my new favorite song:

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."
