in cockpit view

Hey, maybe someone has an answer to this.
In AH2 i use a wireless mouse with a trackball to control my in cockpit view. I don't map my flight stick hat switch for this. and this gives me a smooth transition in viewing. I've begun exploring the Beta AH3 and it does not work at all. I've had to map the hat switch to change view points but i find this to be not as efficient. Am I missing a step here somewhere or is this just not possible in the beta? My roller will work fine when opening the clipboard, but not at all when in the cockpit. Just curious.

Hit "shift H", that will allow for mouse panning. Unfortunately, every time you call up the clipboard map you have to hit it again.
