Congrats BigRat! <S> :joystick: :old: :airplane:
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Very cool! Do you remember which event you scored your first?

Congrats Branch!

This is all from VF-17, I was first flying FSO with the 332nd back in the Daddog days for a few years.  Ironically the first kill I can remember with VF-17 was a N1K with a hellcat, that was back when VF-17 would only field 4-7 pirates.  Seems so long ago now.

<S> guys, that's a great accomplishment.

It's funny how so many of us would rather spend our Friday nights doing this than anything else.

FSO is truly the most enjoyable aspect of my online experience!

Thanks, and I agree it is the most fun I have online.

As far as "It's funny how so many of us would rather spend our Friday nights doing this than anything else."  Well there are some things that trump FSO  :devil, albeit they don't normally last two hours :rofl .

Got inspired by the 200 kills.  First Corsair profile.  Spent time fooling around with it tonight.

Your bird BigRat  :aok

Thanks Guppy,  I see what you did with the "Big Rat/ Big Hog" thing.  Very cool, not that I'm anywhere near the same category as Blackburn. :aok

Might need some more of these for a scenario.  :aok   :noid

Not a problem now that I have a template.  Don't have as many Navy birds as USAAF and RAF but can always add to the template library  :aok

Thanks guys, but there was another milestone in the squad as Branch hit 250 kills last night as well, well these numbers are from when we started keeping track 5 or so years ago (hyzer may know).

I went back to 1/8/2010 in the FSO event logs to start the scoring for VF-17.
We have clearance, Clarence. Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

Yeah I know I have no life, but it's relaxing doing these things.  It was bothering me that there were no kill markings on the Corsairs.  I couldn't figure out how I could put 250 and 200 kill flags on the birds and make them looks even remotely historical.  Took a 0 off and it works.  So both Branch and BigRat's birds looking a bit more like Corsair aces.
