This thread was supposed to be about giving thanks to Thor.

Well, it was.  And then we got tired of that.

Graven images, all that stuff, it violates several of the forum rules.  Better to talk about girls and ghettos.

The official "lightning" explanation is delivered by media for simple minds; this poor animals are victims of archons, some sort of demonic alien beings, fallen angels, advanced entities , they don't have digestive system but feeding direct on bio photons emitted by our aura, sucking the life from humans and poor animals.

The slaughter place , Hardangervidda  park, is located just south of Hessdalen; i've been surfing this UFO /live cams for years after listening a show on Coast to Coast AM,  :noid very strange thing are happening in this area, has been keept under watch since ww2 ; it's believed to be a portal/ star gate.

We can't have a Royksopp thread without some flashlights and explosions.

 :aok

There's another band I've been listening to lately in the same genre, sort of. Highasakite.

I'll have to check them out.  I haven't kept up with new music as much as I should but there's some good stuff coming out of Skandinavia lately.  Faded by Alan Walker, and Happy Hours by John de Sohn have been on repeat for me the last couple months.
To each their pwn.

Doesn't look too bad, but I'd sure want my 2nd amendment rights intact if I were to move there...

It looks nice, doesn't it?  Almost like little farm houses with open plots of land, trees, fields, etc.

But this is what it was like in the 1950's -- packed row houses before 80% of them were abandoned and eventually burned down or demolished.

Thor pleased with Norwegians, elves displeased with Icelanders.

They may need the meat as their economy is taking a beating because of Oil. I don't think the illegal whaling is going to be enough to keep them supplied.

Hard to imagine what that strike may have looked. Simply incredible.

A definite improvement for sure. I'd buy that for a Dollar!

Yeah, one of my favorite films as well. :)

By the way, "I'd buy that for a dollar!" and a couple other things in the film are homages to a short story titled "The Marching Morons", by Kornbluth (which was borrowed heavily from by Idiocracy).  You might like the short story, too.

Yeah I did. Read it back in the '80s or '90s. Wish we could ship all the morons to Venus today and save the future!

Impossible as they are a heavily protected species. Hence the abundance of them today.

The trick (as in the story) is to make it sound and look so wonderful that they'd be queuing up to go on the ship...

Brooke, I also think Douglas Adams probably took that idea and ran with it in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
