True..wheels down.
I had been fighting Avanti all night and he said he had tried to land an it was not possible..automatic crash..
So when I ran out of fuel I tried it:..have not tried belly landing though.
Sorry maybe I was missing the point.

Water ditching has so far been impossible in AH3.  Repeated mentions of the problem have fallen on deaf ears.

'Ditching' in the countryside in RL was generally made with gears up for safety reasons (overturns!), and quite often in AH you have your gear partially or fully damaged.
In this case, any try to ditch off base is a death sentence in AH III so far, no matter where and how.

That explains why I blew up yesterday trying a 1/2 wing ditch.  Was definitely slow enough.   Bummer.  I will miss ditching.  :(

It appears it is a fine line...no skid, no bounce...just BOOM. Have had 1 out of MANY attempts....water and land both. Squaddie has had water and beach ditch as well...so it is doable, but just requires a near zero descent rate it appears. Did I mention fine line?

I may have...but you would have to dig in the footage to find:)

Live stream means I don't usually go back through it:)  So its unedited in all its glory!
