Next Gen Air Vehicle Control?
« on: August 31, 2016, 05:32:11 AM »
Hello,

I was hoping you could confirm an observation please.

Standard plane control AH2 seems to more closely emulate a WWII with respect to pitch and turning (X and Y axis).  AH3 seems to more closely emulate the control implementation used in many modern games from Star Citizen to War Thunder.

Have you found the same thing to be true?

Working with AH3 pre-release I was trying to make the plane control more like AH2 but maybe I am wrong in doing this and should just get used to the  "new way" of controlling air vehicles.  On the up side this would make it easier for non-AH gamers to learn the game.

Thanks for your feedback.

No. If your controls are not setup properly that might lead you to be confused.

Here's the first of a three part series on control setup in Aces High III, but watch them all so you can see how to put it all together:

You are welcome. I realize there are a few mistakes in these videos (which I do correct in later parts. If it was perfect it would only get more boring.
