The A-20 will play a vital role in the upcoming "Tunisia 1943" scenario, running on Oct. 22nd.
We will be wreaking havoc at Kasserine Pass and throughout the deserts of Tunisia, so if you'd like to fly with me in this exciting battle, send me a message. I'd love to fly with you.
Now, we all know the A-20 is fast, but what is surprising is that, at the time of its introduction into combat in 1941, it was as fast or faster on the deck than *all* of the fighter types in main use at the time. Faster than the P-40, F4F, Hurri II, Spit V, A6M2, Bf 110, and equal to the Bf 109F and P-39D.
Not bad!
In 1943, we are up mainly against 109G-2's, some C.202's, and a small number of 190A-5's. Our A-20's are only a few mph slower than the 109G-2, faster than the C.202, and 10 mph slower than the 190A-5.
It can definitely dogfight, too -- and is one of the strongest planes in the game.
What do you say? Send me a message and come join me in the glorious battle on Oct. 22nd.
